Dearest Gentle Reader,
This author finds that it is time once again to put pen to paper to bring you up to date with the latest news of the Kingdom. It has been said that, “Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains to bring it to light” and it definitely feels truer now more than ever. So much has happened that this may be a bit longer than normal, but this author shall dutifully prevail…
A Verbal Warning for Me and a Written One for Thee
At the much anticipated and well-attended Bored meeting of the month, it was announced by the Bored that all of the missteps of our King merely warranted a verbal reprimand. This was announced at the meeting, but then quickly glossed over with no actual verbal reprimand made in public. This means that the King will have no record in his personnel file as to his social media misconduct. Please cogitate on this for a moment – there will be no record of his misconduct.
Immediately following this statement, the newly appointed Baron of Taint stood and made a public statement addressing the staff. In case you haven’t seen it or heard it, here it is in it’s full, unaltered glory:

So dearest reader, this author has obviously gotten under the very thin skin of our so-called representative leaders. Certainly the truth is painful, is it not? So let’s do a very quick review of this letter.
First, the hypocrisy of allowing the King to run rampant with his demeaning and unprofessional language in the name of the school and in the name of his position within our school resulted in only a mild scolding, but whosoever had the wherewithal to call our Royalty or the Bored to task for THEIR misconduct seems to require a much harsher response.
First, it is very nice of them to remind the reader that there is such a thing as a First Amendment right. Someone paid attention in social studies and learned about the Bill of Rights! So far, so good. But then immediately, the Bored reminds the listener/reader that anything that could be considered disruptive (the truth?) is bad.
They immediately move on to obliquely threaten the staff with articles from the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct. You know, the one that the King violated, but just got a tongue-lashing for.
For those with an incredibly low reading comprehension ability, I shall state for at least the third time, that I am not a palace slave, and therefore their threats to take away a teaching license mean absolutely nothing to me.
Now it may be that some believe this statement (and some not depending on the various intellectual abilities) and so this continual dressing down of their staff is really just wrong. But they go farther than this when they say that staff cannot make comments or post likes or just whatever. They seek to control the staff through fear and intimidation. They absolutely don’t want anyone to speak ill of the district even if it is the truth. The letter continues, “We recognize that mistakes are part of the learning process, and just as we encourage students to grow from their experiences, we extend the same opportunity for our staff to learn and improve.”
This is an incredibly condescending statement made towards professional adults.
“Treating someone as a child, when they are not, can be a form of emotional and psychological abuse, causing them to feel devalued, controlled, and potentially leading to long-term mental health issues.”
This author has been trying to communicate, apparently in vain, that this is just sort of the treatment that the adults in our Kingdom have been increasingly subjected to over the past few years. However, with the advent of King Spinster, this has spun wildly out of control, and it is even said that to say anything not in agreement with the King may send him into a rage, such that many staff do not feel safe to even have a conversation with him. If you have never experienced this, then 1) you have probably not crossed him, 2) are someone he needs something from, 3) are beneath his notice, or 4) are just a natural sycophant. And let’s not ignore that there is a lot of social media evidence to prove that the King lacks emotional self-regulation and any sort of impulse control.
From the Athens County Independent article of March 4:
Among the more than 75 comments Spencer made on a Jan. 30 post about a proposal to cut career technology programs at Morgan High School is one in which he challenges a commenter to fight: “If you wanna insult me, i’ll be around so you can test out your manhood.”
The King is not stable. In fact, at this point, should he take a swipe at someone at the school, some members of the Bored will probably get him an ice pack and praise him for putting the palace servants in their rightful place.-
This brings up a strange and troubling thought…what if the King is doing all of these things so that the Bored will actually put him on paid leave for the rest of the year? What if his goal is to have a free ride without having to put in any effort? This may not be as far-fetched as it seems, since the King was trying to get such a separation agreement with the Bored as far back as November. (Quote from his November 20th letter to the Bored, “i believe it’s best if we discuss a separation agreement.”) Because this author wonders how someone can be this absolutely clueless and continue with ongoing major missteps? It almost appears that if the King had his way, he would be able to ride out the rest of the year free and clear with plenty of time to research and look for his next job at a bigger Kingdom. From FB (J.E. Spen is the King):

Wouldn’t that be quite the turnabout if the King was trying to get that leave, but then the Bored keeps giving him a pass?
Sorry about that digression… back to our Bored letter….
By the time we get to the end of the letter, it becomes clear that their call to ignore the “ongoing distractions” is a call to silence those that would ask the Bored to actually take action and right the mistake of hiring such a man to be the Kingdom’s leader.
So yes, gentle reader, please join hands with your neighbors, sing Kumbaya together, and then put on your officially sanctioned Bored blinders, and everything will magically be set aright. The problems will still be there, but the Bored just wants everyone to ignore them so that they won’t have to do anything about fixing them.
Citizens – if you believe the staff is being bullied and abused, it is up to you, the people, to make your displeasure known to the Bored. If this is allowed to happen to the staff, then what is happening to the educational environment surrounding our children? There are Bored elections this year. We need people whose primary goal for being on the board is to advocate for the best possible educational conditions for our children and our staff, and not for any other reason.
And for the record, this author is not going anywhere, since there are still truths to be uncovered and revealed. The powers that be cannot continue to gaslight themselves and the community unchallenged. And since the Kingdom has instituted strict controls on communication within the Kingdom, then it is incumbent upon someone to speak up for those that have had their voices silenced.
Breaking: A NEW ARTICLE was just posted by the Athens County Independent. Thank heavens for our local independent media.
In To Cut or Not to Cut: The Bored’s Answer Was TO CUT
This, dear reader, will be short. The Bored, despite the pleading and well-communicated (but limited) comments from our very impassioned community members, parents, and staff, went ahead and decided to eliminate eight teaching positions. This, despite the fact that the Bored has had a year’s notice to work on a solution to this problem. But instead of being thoughtful and looking at more systemic ways to save money, decided that it would just be easier to cut teachers. The vote was 3 – 2 in favor of the cuts. Those in favor of cutting included the Queen Dumbridge-Void, Myle Liccass, and Baron Taint, while the dissenting two votes were Countess Leto and Princess Broommeadow. Kudos to those two who voted for children instead of thoughtless expediency.
You can go HERE for this author’s deeper take on this. It is the second half of the article.
Too Much Time on Someone’s Hands?
Ah dear reader, this author has obviously angered a few people in the community, so much so that this was received in this author’s messages. From “Noda Guess”:

Again, this author would like to take a moment to analyse this lovely example of dicked in the knob commentary from a likely ape-leader. (Regency language is so expressive, is it not?)
So the person who sent this is most likely Ramey Pooper, as she has already commented and posted under two different fake accounts and seems to still be active on-line defending the King. This author is honestly concerned about this person’s mental health, for there is a lot to unpack here.
First, the writer of this is convinced – CONVINCED – that they are certain who I, Lady Whistleblower, am. That this person claims to be working towards removing me from my job is quite laughable, as I tell them, once again, that I am not under the auspices of the King nor the Bored. The further concern here is that this person (and others?) are conspiring to have someone who is quite innocent fired. They claim to have proof – PROOF – of who I am.
They are lying.
Then the threat that I must remove everything or consequences. Sorry, the ranter doesn’t know what they are talking about.
And then this person continues to insult, blah, blah, blah, more insults, blah, blah, blah.
This author is yawning at the idiocy.
Now the reason that I am fairly certain this is Ramey Pooper on her third account is because this is the only person that has heretofore been blocked on my socials. First, the postings were libelous. Second, the postings often devolved to this sort of unhinged ranting. Third, as a private citizen, no person can hold this author’s socials hostage. If this author wishes to remove disruptive forces, then it is well within my rights to do so.
This author has no trouble with those who want to exchange ideas or debate, unlike Ramey Pooper. But, as it has been said, you cannot have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
At this point, the biggest issue that this author would like to address (and this is where I am fairly convinced that Ms. Pooper is barking up the wrong tree) is the assumption that this author is a “liberal dirtbag.” I would like to state emphatically that this author has no interest in engaging in a larger political arena. This author is not interested in left vs right, blue vs red, liberal vs conservative, etc. This author firmly stands by the fact that all of my (and others’) endeavors are aimed at getting the Kingdom to be more transparent, to encourage more (not less or restricted) communication, to treat ALL of the staff as professionals, and create the best possible education for our children. The climate of the school is not healthy. Our students should be the focus, not the King and Queen. Decisions need to be made in the best interest of the students. This unifying idea does not belong to any particular ideology – because there are people on all sides of the political spectrum who love their children, niblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, their friends’ kids, their neighbor’s kids, etc., and want nothing but the best for them. It is in this spirit of cooperation and community that everyone, regardless of personal political ideology, should be coming together to make children the center of our school once more, with an administration who supports teachers, counselors, aids, secretaries, cooks, maintenance workers, custodians, bus drivers, coaches, and all of the other people involved to provide the best educational environment we can. THIS is the reason for this publication, for “time doesn’t heal all wounds – it reveals truth. The healing occurs with intention.”
The rest of the message is basically gibberish. The comment about, “Men dont look your way for a reason” and being jealous of the King is just really strange – and again, makes this author believe that the writer is struggling with some reality or other mental health issues.
Closing Remarks
This author wants to acknowledge the very uplifting post that was shared asking people to state all of the reasons why they love FedHock. It was inspiring and heart-felt. This author will add some commentary on this in a future article. (Yes, a more positive article, I assure you.)
And now this quite long-winded bluestocking needs must bring this issue to a close,
Sincerely,
Lady Whistleblower
