Lady Whistleblower Dearest Gentle Reader,
This author had planned a relaxed and uneventful end to the week, so imagine the surprise at having to rush to press over the most recent Kingdom kerfuffle. And this news is hotter than Satan’s bath water as the story broke just this morning.
Here is the latest offending post. Again, if you weren’t up early, you missed it, because we have yet another dirty delete. This is becoming quite the habit.
It seems that someone who has access to our Kingdom’s official FB page decided it would be a great idea to post a teacher-derisive response on a national page with 1.1 million followers. Now, this author would be more than happy to make a sizable wager on the author of the post, to wit…
- No one knows for sure exactly who has access to direct post via the Kingdom’s official account, but it is hard to imagine that there are many teachers.
- Why would a teacher argue against a post that is both pro-teacher and pro-student? The Kingdom’s post claims that teachers do not need to be compensated more than what they already get, and informs the national poster that they don’t know what they are talking about – with yet again, another appeal to authority on the Kingdom’s part.
- Who would have the audacity to post with the district’s public page using text language instead of proper English?
Well, there is definitely one person who comes to mind, someone who would have no trouble misidentifying themselves in order to score a point, and that would be the King. The denizens of the Kingdom have a right to know that the King does not like teachers. He does not treat them professionally or respectfully. He justifies this by claiming that the teachers are disrespectful of HIM, and therefore that gives him the right to treat them in whatever manner he wishes. The Bored has given a braggadocious bully the keys to the Kingdom, and it’s time that there is more oversight from The Bored concerning his behavior.
Do any of you feel the irony of this occurring just a week after the last On Dit? (Please read https://theladywhistleblower.com/the-latest-on-dit-for-february-20/, if you haven’t.) Have we not spent enough time dissecting the King’s inappropriate social media use and its effect on our Kingdom? This author does not wish to simply repeat herself.
In any case, this author lives to make your desires manifest.
